There is a level of accountability and feedback, with Ms. Murray, not commonly matched in the professional environment. Ms. Murray has been inside the male dominated culture of Juvenile Corrections/Treatment; successfully restructuring policy/procedure, state/federal audit standards, and confronting cultural competency, regardless of obstacles. Absent of judgement, Ms. Murray’s direction is solid and supportive.
I have excelled within my field; as a RTC Facility Supervisor and now Juvenile Probation Officer Supervisor; and my education; earning a degree in Sociology/Criminology, in large part to Ms. Murray’s influence and guidance.

— Michael Burgess, Juvenile Probation Officer Supervisor
